About the role
As a Senior Developer at Unitotal, you will own features across our SaaS portfolio — Unitotal.tel, GigaGlobe, Condo Pro, LMS, and Wellol. You work closely with product and design, ship production code weekly, and help raise the bar for engineering quality on a small, high-ownership team.
What you'll do
- Design, build, and ship full-stack features in PHP, React, and related APIs.
- Own services end-to-end: data model, backend, UI, and deployment.
- Improve reliability, performance, and security across our products.
- Review code, mentor teammates, and document technical decisions.
- Collaborate with product and design to scope practical solutions.
- Help operate cloud infrastructure (AWS, hosting, monitoring) when needed.
What we're looking for
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong PHP and modern JavaScript/React experience.
- Comfort with MySQL, REST APIs, and Git-based workflows.
- Experience shipping and maintaining production SaaS products.
- Clear written and verbal communication in English (French is a plus).
- Based in Canada and able to work remote-first with occasional Montréal syncs.
